Hardy Barth offers a modern charging solution with the eCharge, which can use the OCPP interface to charge your vehicle using PV surplus from your solar system.

Tested with the cPμ2 wallbox and firmware version 2.2.0.
According to the manufacturer, compatibility with the cPH2 is also provided.

Automatic phase switching is currently not integrated.

Preparation

To connect the Hardy Barth eCharge to our system, you must activate the wallbox's OCPP backend.

Before starting the setup, you must connect your wallbox to the internet and install the latest updates. Based on our experience, the following procedure is recommended:

1. Find the IP address of the wallbox in your home network (usually under the name "salia") or connect directly to the wallbox.

2. Click on [Configuration].

3. Copy the OCPP URL from our app.

4. Paste the OCPP URL into the corresponding field in the wallbox configuration and activate the OCPP function. Example: wss://cleverpv-ocpp.azurewebsites.net/ocpp/XXXXXXXX/XXXXXXXXXX

5. Set the authentication method. OCPP has been tested.

6. Save the settings and reboot the wallbox.

7. The wallbox will appear in our app with its serial number for selection. If this does not happen, you can cancel the setup and restart it. It may also take up to 10 minutes for the wallbox to connect. You can also verify a successful OCPP connection if the "OCPP icon" lights up dark on the wallbox.

⚠️ To receive the initial status from the wallbox, you may need to start a charging session.
